Welcome to the public beta phase of CellGuard! We’re steadily improving our algorithms to catch all the rogue base stations – but also want to avoid false alarms. To this end, we need your help.

Cellular network configurations differ a lot across countries and mobile network operators. Metrics indicating an attack in one country could be legitimate behavior in another. For example, while 2G has been disabled in the US, countries like Germany still run legitimate 2G base stations. Thus, we need more data to fine-tune our detection algorithm.

We value your privacy! Participation in the study is voluntary, and you can opt out anytime. We have implemented various measures to collect only relevant data and remove personal data from the data shared with us. You can find further information in our privacy policy.
